Bike Delivery
Our coffee is bike delivered to the vast majority of our local deliveries. We do this because it is low-impact on the environment and because, frankly, it is fun.
Bike delivery literally is as easy as riding a bike. We are confused as to why more companies don't do it.

cooking oil
We use biodiesel because no one as of yet fights wars over soy oil and because it is much better for the environment. It also smells like french fries cooking.
We buy our soy bio-fuel from Great Lakes Biofuels and from the Praerie Fire Biofuels Co-op. We plan to convert to waste veggie oil as soon as we have the cash to do it.
You had better be carefull, there are a lot of hungry cows now that all the corn is going to make Ethanol. It may be a good idea to start to use the waste cooking oil as soon as you can. www.thebiodieselnews.com

Please stop using biofuels
Some studies have suggested that as much as 75% of the continuing rises in global food prices, for the most part impacting the world's poor, could be due to the diversion of crops to agrofuels. Even though your organization works to help poor farmers, the increases in global food prices have a net detrimental effect on them, in general.
