MY winter RIDE

John Nolen bike path

This is actually a picture of my ride home  -- but I would like to talk for moment about my ride to work today ... COLD ...... WINDY .......Really COLD .. Really Windy.   at one point the wind was blowing so hard in my face that it might have been easier to get off my bike and walk..... but it was all worth it - I arrived at work invigorated and ready for my day... already feeling a great sense of accomplishment... right after I had a hot cup of JUST COFFEE.....
here is the map of my ride

13th Annual FAIR TRADE HOLIDAY FAIR

They just keep getting better and better ... This was at least the 5th one that I have  represented Just Coffee at. Turn out for the event was even better this year.. we sold some coffee and mugs and several of the woven bags from E. Timor ... Thanks to everyone who worked to organize and run the event -esp. Carol and CALA. Thanks to all of the vendors and shoppers that turned out to support the event.

Happy Holidays

We also discussed growing, picking, processing and talked about the relationship of slow foods movement and global trade. We tried 3 coffee's Maya Super Dark, Ethiopian Sidamo, and Dark roasted PERU. Farewell , originally uploaded by justcoffee4u.

you will be missed.. thanks for everything..

Thursday, April 2nd

I got a call from Eric Zeldin at approximately 4:25pm today informing us that his mother Lea has passed on.
The family invites Lea's friends from throughout the community to a memorial on Saturday, April 11th beginning at 5pm, at the Labor Temple, 1602 S. Park St. in Madison. The memorial will begin with a potluck. Bring your favorite dish for Lea who so loved great food and conversation. (Beverages will be provided by the family.)
Following the potluck there will be an opportunity to share stories and remembrances of Lea.
Please share this information with all who knew Lea.

With great sadness,

Glenn Mitro
